Pitched, Tiled & Slate Roofing

A pitched roof is the single biggest weatherproofing investment most homeowners ever make, and it is the work that built our name across Havering. Whether you need a tired roof stripped and renewed or a brand-new roof on an extension, every covering is laid to BS 5534 with a fully breathable membrane, new treated battens and stainless fixings.

Flat Roofing — EPDM & GRP Fibreglass

Old mineral-felt flat roofs blister, split and leak — usually within ten years. We replace them with seamless systems engineered to outlast the building: EPDM rubber membranes and wet-laid GRP fibreglass, both with no joints to fail across the main field of the roof.

  • Strip and dispose of failed felt or asphalt
  • New OSB3 or ply deck with correct firring falls
  • Warm-deck insulation upgrade to current Part L

Guttering

Overflowing or sagging gutters are the hidden cause of most damp problems — water running down the wall instead of away from the building rots fascias, soaks brickwork and finds its way inside. We replace tired guttering with systems sized and angled to carry the real rainfall an Essex roof sees.

Fascias & Soffits

The roofline — your fascias, soffits and bargeboards — is the timber that carries the gutter and closes off the roof. Once it starts to rot, gutters sag, birds and squirrels get into the loft, and the damage spreads into the rafter feet. We replace it all in maintenance-free UPVC that never needs painting.

Roof Repairs

A small roof problem rarely stays small. A single slipped tile or a hairline crack in a flashing lets water track into the structure, and by the time it shows on a ceiling the real damage is already done. We find the actual source of a leak — not just where the stain appears — and fix it properly.

Chimney & Leadwork

The chimney is the most exposed part of any roof and the most common place for leaks to start. Cracked flaunching, perished pointing, rusted flashings and spalled brickwork all let water in. We repair, repoint, rebuild or fully remove chimneys, and renew the leadwork that weathers them.
